Does anyone have an extra info on that? The Antonov's that is

The article states 120 cars participate. Divided over 4 Antonov aircraft makes 30 cars per aircraft. So an Antonov 12 is not possible.
So my guess 4 Antonov 124s'. An An124 can carry about 55 cars/44 SUVs http://www.ruaviation.com/docs/3/2011/3/18/26/

In 2013 three Antonov Design Bureau AN124 were used to transport the cars and crew for Gumball. Pretty sure this year we will see the same airline and type of aircraft. Some photo here (needs registration) http://www.nederlandseluchtvaart.nl/for ... 4-a-24258/

Volgens het gepubliceerde schema van Gumball 3000 (http://www.gumball3000.com/rally/schedule) rijden de auto's vanuit Copenhagen naar Amsterdam waar ze op 26 mei vanaf 17:00u moeten gaan aankomen.
Tussen de regels door is te lezen dat de auto's op 26 mei na 23:00u worden geladen in de daarvoor bestemde kisten.
Dat zou dan dus betekenen dat de kisten leeg binnen moeten gaan komen.
Verder staat er te lezen "In the early hours of the 27th, the cargo aircraft will depart carrying over $200million worth of precious cargo, with the private Gumball Airlines Passenger charter following at midday.".
Als ik het dan goed lees moet er ook nog een speciale pax charter komen. Dat zou dan ook nog wat leuks op moeten kunnen gaan leveren.
