F-100 and Mystere at Headcorn to be removed

Post by ehusmann »

The F-100 and Mystere currently at Headcorn in Kent will be removed soon, probably before end of the year. Both are owned by the USAF museum, but have been located at Headcorn for years. The local museum wanted them gone as both are in rather sad state. The USAF museum has now finally agreed to take them back, probably to be scrapped straight away.

Aircraft involved are 63938 F-100F and 84 Mystere IVA, so get them while you still can.
