Around 4 o clock pm when we left the Monino museum we saw a An-26 flying overhead with white,blue red stripe on the fusulage, was this the RA-46704?

Yes the log is from outside the base. On the south side the base is very open. Park your car and follow the wall (fence).
For your "safety" you can stay in the wood. Nice fews from here and the end you will get very close to the aircraft. Late afternoon is the best time. We walked for about 4 hours about 5 miles.
