Q about Orleans-Bricy

Hello ,

After the show at Tours in june , I will have a look at Orleans Nricy to read some serials. Can someone tell me if that is possible and where the best spot is ?

Yes it is possible. Bare in mind the heat waves. Spots mentioned on the airfield guide are all good. In order to read all aircraft you have to visit all spots.

Spot 1 is good in the evening for tails of the stored Transalls in NW-corner.
From spot 2 you can read some active a/c at the ramp.

If you like W&R, try also the preserved Mystere:

Military facility East of the airfield

9 Dassault Super Mystere B2 Ex AdlA Preserved Jul 2014
This one should be visible through a gab in the concrete wall.

Also the very interesting Chateaudun in nearby (best to spot in the evening) and the N2501 you will pass on the way to Chateaudun in:
St. Peravy la Colombe, France 4 km W of Orleans airfield 47.99854, 1.70395. 12, Nord Noratlas N2501, (F), ex AdlA, Preserved, Jul 2014
