According to leaked information, 3 Dutch ministries oppose the launch of Arkefly B787 flights from Eindhoven to Aruba and Curacao, planned from November 2015, say Dutch TV-programme Nieuwsuur and Dutch newspaper Telegraaf:

The reason given is the fact that these flights will need to have 100% security checks because of drugs runners, and the airport is not (yet) equipped with all necessary facilities for that. The civil servants from the ministry for security and safety, the treasury and the ministry of infrastructure and environment think the cost and timeframe for this operation will be prohibitive...
