Alliance Airlines (QQ, Brisbane Int'l) has confirmed it has sold two of its seventeen Fokker 100 twinjets for AUD15.1 million (USD11.64 million).

The aircraft were deemed "surplus" by the carrier following fluctuations in the mining and energy sectors - its primary source of clientele.
