Smile Air is a proposed Ghanaian start-up to be based at Accra Kotoka Airport. The carrier plans to commence operations in 2H2015 with three former Iran Air Boeing 747s to destinations in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Smile Air has already entered an alliance with a local domestic carrier for feeder traffic and plans to operate a cabin crew training centre. The start-up is currently undergoing certification with the Ghanaian authorities.
