Today I saw a single ship A-10 flying overhead Bitburg. This was around 1430uLT. Anyone an idea which one this was?

How many A-10's and local F-16's are present at Spang at this moment? Or, better: is there any activity besides the big haulers that come and going? As we are spending our holidays in the neighborhood, I would love to spend some time near the fence with my son (7) to see some flying jets. What is the best spot and what are the "common" departure and arrivaltimes of the locals?

Most of the A-10s are still in Poland (if not all) and will relocate to Lakenheath either tomorrow and or tuesday, before heading home end of the week.

Spang is with 18 (I believe) F-16s at Nellis for Red Flag, so I think it's pretty quiet....

Copied from the US forum on this board:

F-16 SP 480FS 90-0813, 90-0818, 90-0827, 91-0338, 91-0340, 91-0342, 91-0343, 91-0344, 91-0360, 91-0361, 91-0403, 91-0407, 91-0412, 91-0416, 91-0418, 91-0481, 92-3918

These have been read at Nellis, so I think 18 might be there (or 1 went tech) ;-)

And with "Home" you mean SP or USA?

Their visit to Ln apparently got cancelled, as all 12 were planned to do Lask - Lajes today, but that got cancelled as well ;-) (will try again tomorrow).

Two things are certain in life-taxes and death.

5 of these A-10Cs en route Lask-Lajes wound up un Mildenhall today (01st August)
Drink treble
See double
