I'm considering making a stop over in Naha from my flight from HKG back to AMS. Anyone got any experience on spotting at Naha from the terminal side?

- Is MIL spotting/photography possible inside/outside customs area?
- Any MIL activity expected to on saturdays?
- Are the ramps vissable and moreover, are MIL aircraft usually parked on the apron in the weekend?

- You can view part of the military platforms from the terminal building (there are 2 viewing decks available)
- Not much MIL activity expected during the weekends
- Only the Orion ramp is visible and these are the only aircraft parked outside in the weekend

Kadena is just 45 minutes further if you have the time. With full ramps

You can also walk around the fence on the rocks near to the water and have a full view of the military ramp.

You may catch the occasional E-2C or transport airplane on a Saturday in addition to the P-3s.
