When reading the USAFE-news website, I understand that these 4 will be deployed to Iceland for QRA duties for the upcoming weeks. Doesn't say that they will join the 8 at Leeuwarden later on.roberto wrote:tomorrow only 8, other 4 next week

Have a look at: http://www.sunearthtools.com/dp/tools/pos_sun.php
Here you can find-out how the direction of the sun will be for every place on earth; at any given time during the year!
1. Move to the google-map till you are at EHLW runway (choose "satelliet view")
2. Double click to set the location.
3. select time-zone GMT+1
4. In the upper-right corner, you can a select a mode (standard is sun path) --> choose sun rays
5. hit the blue "execute" button
And there you have it! You can now than see that just before 17:00 you will have the sun exactly parallel to the runway. After 17:00, you wil slightly face the sun against you when standing on the "spotters-hill"....

In principe bijna nergens, want de weilanden aan de andere kant is defensie terrein waar bordjes met Art.461 verboden toegang bij staan.danledan wrote:Vol op de kont.... Zoniet verder .... Je zal een plekke

I am saying 'No' here. Air Policing Iceland is a long duty, usually.K-9 wrote:So we will see a total of 12 eagles at Leeuwarden
?
Joostmil just made this remark... but realize many spotters will be driving hundreds of kilometers to see them arriving. If you say 'I just received this message' make it clear to everyone what the official source is! Then we can make up our minds to go or stay at home...Joostmil wrote:Just received the news that the F-15's have been delayed at least 24hrs due to bad weather on the route...
