Helchteren (Pampa range) - 2016

Currently present at the Pampa range (first noted last week, last seen 13th evening), a EC725 (or H225M nowadays) in primer, with only the registration 'F-ZWBS' on a paper.

According to a post on FF, this most likely is c/n 2991 (customer code UZB003), destined for Uzbekistan.

This is NOT a EC725 or H225M!!
But it is a AS532 (AL-version?) or H215M according to the new type- designations.

I think(!) this Cougar will return home today or tomorrow.

Judging from previous visits by Eurocopter helicopters; it usually is parked next to the tower at the Pampa range, but regularly visits KB for taking fuel etc. Not sure whether it is the same this time again.

No, this time (and also a previous time) the helicopter is flying from Kleine Brogel!!
It only sometimes makes very short stops at Pampa range to drop off/pick up someting or to (re)load weapons.

I've been told it's not visible from outside the base when parked at KB.

Agusta Westland for example did a test flying from KB. Before that there have been many others. Saudis, Pakistan, Mexican you name it.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of those.... AND posted them on this forum (and elsewhere). Just wondering why nobody posted about the more recent ones............ Apparently at least Marijn and you did see them...

It seems to be up again right now, flying patterns at the Pampa Range.
