I have a question that probably any tiger member would be able to answer; how is each squadron financing the special painting schemes? I mean, is all paid by each country defence budget or each squadron has a kind of "private" money pocket which is financed with airshows participations for example?

Regards,
Fox, I really doubt you'll get a straight answer. But ask any Tiger crew person. Who knows? I personally think it's "all of the above", with perhaps an additional possibility of "partners" (newish name for sponsors).

Cheers, Don

Today, morning wave used 30L for take-off and both 30L and R for landing; in the afternoon wave, only landings on 30R were from the Spanish Hornets (and some transports and a Ryanair civvie)

The Rafales did an impressive show... as did the others. It was a long time ago that I witnessed demos where the display line was SO close to the public area..

I have about the same list; minor differences:
C-17 was from Papa/HAW
FA-116 was also there in the Belgian line-up
TL.10-01/31-01 C-130H-30 was towed out of a hangar just before 31-05 was towed in on the 19th
Eufi 30+25 was also there in the German line-up

Reading from photos (but I have some 3/4 frontal shots) the gazelle GAL looks like 3852(probably this) or 3862... GBY/4145 (99,99% sure)

If someone was in front of the taxi when they were taking off probably should read the numbers much better then me.

Instead there was a Belgium F16 with the patch over the serial... Which serial it was? FA84 or FA95?

thanks

FA-95 is the one.

The "patched up" Belgian was FA-95. On the other side of the fin, the sticker covered "FA" only :)

The gazelle serials have been tied up with the codes for some years now, so 3862/GAL and 4145/GBY are correct.

Some more corrections in the log posted above:
Aguila C101EB with code "79-29" was E.25-87 (photoproof), not E.25-29. It carried special markings for the 30th anniversary of Patrulla Aguila.
Aspa EC.120B with code "78-27" was HE.25-8, not -9.

Were both 30+22 and 30+25 in Zaragoza? I have seen logs with either the one or the other ...
