Vliegtuigbouwer Bombardier sluit haar onderhoudscentrum voor zakenjets op Schiphol -Oost. Dat heeft de onderneming woensdagmiddag laten weten aan het personeel.
Zo'n tachtig medewerkers lijken hun baan te verliezen.

Located at London Biggin Hill Airport the London Service Centre will feature 3,065 sq. metres (32,991 sq. feet) of hangar space. Set to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2016, the service centre will be fully equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as modifications, avionics installations, and aircraft on ground (AOG) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft.

Sad news, first of all for all personel involved, but also for those of us who enjoyed the diversity and numbers of interesting bizjets the last years...

Sad news indeed, also per first of July,paint bay of H14,will be closed, later this year H10,shall be closed, but according a source, Embraer is planning to have a maintenance hangar at AMS, wait and see.
