On Friday at Reno/Stead Airport during the Reno Air Race Association's Pylon Racing Seminar (PRS), Steve Hinton Jr. takes Bob Button's highly modified P-51D Mustang, Race #5 "Voodoo," onto the Unlimited course to for 3 "hot laps."

This video features the first of those laps, with speeds near 500 mph.
