KEF Friday 21st October,
VP-45 'Pelicans' appear to have been tasked with shadowing with the large Russian Navy task force currently moving south off the coast of various Western European countries.
Plane Finder tells us that P-8A 168852 calling PELICAN28 was flying from here on the 21st.

Quite busy indeed. Spent half an hour at the airport on 22/10 and saw two P-8, one C-130J and an Il-96 there at the military apron.
