My real source is actually a russian, not airfighters.

Here is a picture of the aircraft RA-85572 during change of right engine done 2011, showing several Tu-154 and Tu-134 online.
The picture is taken on Chkalovsk air base, Moscow, the Russian Air Force base for transports to and from Moscow.
An engine change is performed on the tarmac, without weather protection.
The aircraft does belong to the Russian Air Force VVS, not the 223 LO.
With the picture is a chat about the Russian maintance of aircraft comparing Western countries.

Problems with the wing flaps is since several days said to be the reason for the crash.

But several sources talks about "Кибертеракт" (Russian for Cyber Warfare) as the main cause. Several old near accidents are discussed, accidents who are well documented since the 1980s.

Most of this aircraft are used by the highest military commanders. Several sources mention FSB as the source of the Kiberterakt discussions.
The discussion continue certainly a long time.

March 14, 2017 — 11:00 — Update: 12:09
A new report into the crash shows that pilot Roman Volkov put the plane into landing mode just one minute after take-off after reaching an altitude of 250 meters, the Kommersant newspaper reported Tuesday.

Military simulations then show that the Tu-154 flew parallel to the water for a full ten seconds before colliding with the sea.

Experts told Kommersant that the crew could have become disorientated during take-off, which took place under darkness.

Unable to see landmarks or the horizon, Volkov may have decided to rely on his own intuition and experience to pilot the plane, rather than rely on the aircraft’s instruments, the newspaper reported. The reflections of stars in the sea may also have added to the pilot’s disorientation.

The Ministry of Defense is currently investigating Volkov’s medical records, as well as interviewing his former flight instructors, Kommersant reported. It is also investigating whether the crew was properly rested before the flight.
