Sheppard AFB Friday 3rd Feb

Post by Starman »

Flying with many based a/c were the following T-38Cs CB/65-10453, RA/68-0210, RA/67-14829 and one serialled RA899 for which I see no candidate, any ideas? Also, a/c marked only "90FTS" (y) and "469 FTS" (col not noted) need solving.
The only Texan II I read from my Talon VP was XL(00-3)580.

"469 FTS" is 66-4343. I'll see if I got any for the "90 FTS" but you will have to wait till when I get home tonight.

Your RA899 could be 61-0899. Last noted with XL code in 2010 apparently.

In 2004, 2006, and 2009 the "90 FTS" was the 69-7077/EN but had a blue finstripe with Boxin' Bears. I have noted the "90 FTS" yellow in 2012 and 2016 but did not manage to read off the extremely tiny tail number.

In October 2012 '90 FTS' was still 69-7077, wth a yellow finstripe.
