Post by XYZ »

This is a review of the AMS-UK passenger market for the year 2016.

Each year, I post an analysis of developments in the AMS-UK market over the last 12 months. The United Kingdom is Schiphol's largest and most important market, it is therefore interesting to see how individual routes perform in comparison to previous years.

2016 was another record year for Schiphol's most important market.
Movements AMS-UK went up by 3.9%, while passenger traffic AMS-UK grew by +9% and many routes set new individual passenger records.

Total Market for AMS-UK-AMS:

Aberdeen is of course heavily dependent on the ups and downs of the oil industry. Does anyone know if this is true for Inverness as well?

Inverness, is not depended on oil traffic. Lots of local traffic , plus inbound tourism, like golf and hunting..
