Additions to above log:

HB-HWB for 02
HB-HWF for 06
HB-HXD for 1173
A54-008 now in wooden hall

The full serials of the Australian PC-21s are taped over, only the last two digits are visible on the nose. A54-007 and A54-008 were the only aircraft still without taped s/n.

Then we shall agree to disagree . I have HB-HWA (001) and HWB(002) . Hopefully one of the local spotters noted them with the Mk1 Eyeball 8)

Hangar 12 (this is the hangar at the airport)
I will be visiting Buochs coming week, and although I've been here a few times I'm not sure which hangar is meant here and from where you can have a good view. Advice would be welcome!

Hello Patrick,

This is the hangar behind the preserved Mirage 3S, J-2313.
I think the best spot is N46.97144, E8.399150.

Hi René,

That's great, thanks. Since this hangar has annoying glass in the doors, best bet would be when it is still dark outside and lights are on inside I'm sure.
Well, the results will be posted here next week I hope!

Hi all,

Note to self: Good Friday is a collective "day off" in Switzerland, so Pilatus will be closed....
For us this meant there was no light on in the wooden hangar on Friday morning, and most inmates escaped identification unfortunately.
Positively identified were Australian HB-HWH/08 and HB-HWI/09. Also seen were a dark coloured one with white code 12 and a light coloured one with code 10. Both don't fit the expectations.

The hangar at the airport held Jordanian 1176 in full c/s, French 709-FC in full c/s and c/n 290, 296 and 297 in primer (in between the French and Jordanian) plus c/n 244 in primer apart from all the rest. Also present was a yellow/red PC-7 that looked stored, probably a civil one.

The maintenance hall held Dutch PC-7 538 (L-01), PC-12 HB-FOG of Armasuisse and former Botswana HB-HMX (ex OD-1) plus preserved Mirage J-2313 in front of it. No sign of the Argentinian PC-6 anymore by the way.

Based on the known info I presumed the French one to be the third in line (with codes starting 709-FA and further) and having c/n 295. That would fit with 293 being the first aircraft after the Jordanian batch. However FA and FB haven't been seen so far, and a very recent log on MSF had both FC and 295 seen separately. No mention of c/n's 293 and 294 in that log by the way. So I guess we'll have to wait a bit more to get this sorted.
Any info on numbers 10 and 12 we saw is welcome of course.
Cheers,

Patrick Dirksen
