Thanks for the information. There are 2 C-models in LRIP 9 according to this 'fast facts' PDF from Lockheed Martin.Melchior Timmers wrote:F-35C with buno 169404/NJ-131 (99% sure id) has been seen at Fort Worth.
This should be the first LRIP 9 F-35C. The amount of C-models in LRIP 9 is reported as being 2 and 4, so anyone more info on that? (looks like 4)
Also, the next question is if the F-35B buno range will be before or after the C-models.
Since 12 F-35Bs are on order for LRIP 9 (6x US, 6x RAF), most probably they will be in the 16940. range instead of starting at 169393 (169392 is a Saudi MH-60R) because that range only contains 11 buno's (169393 - 169403)
Hi melchior, actually there are 13 F-35B in LRIP-9: there is also an Italian one (BL-1) in.Melchior Timmers wrote:Since 12 F-35Bs are on order for LRIP 9 (6x US, 6x RAF)
