raf tornado gr.4

Hi all,

saw the landing of the raf tornado's for ff 2017.
Just wondering : no squadron marks or AA codes. Only numbers on the tail.

How does this work beside the zaxxx code of the individual plane?

The codes were applied some years back when 138 Tornado were updated. 138 is the number I believe.
These 138 were coded in sequence. Lowest/oldest serial ZA3.. 001 last ZG7.something 138.
Now only some 55 Tornado remain in service.
