According to Noordhollands Dagblad it is the very same aircraft that landed in the final stages of the nazis in Amsterdam. The owner has shown the original logbooks as evidence.Frank Mink wrote:Hi all, frank kramer wrote:http://www.parool.nl/amsterdam/bijzonde ... ~a4480895/
In my opinion, the candidate for this airframe is PH-UFM, former MLD 21-31, KLu R-4 and RAF NJ957.
However the actual aircraft that landed in Amsterdam was MZ216, according to photos shown on internet.
This particular aircraft became R-3, later went to TU Delft.
As said, above is just my opinion, hopefully its true ID will be known shortly.

Or Frank is wrong in bringing in PH-UFM as a candidate.W&R wrote:This is still very odd, this would mean that the Dutch military of defense national archive has always been wrongaviodromefriend wrote:According to Noordhollands Dagblad it is the very same aircraft that landed in the final stages of the nazis in Amsterdam.
