The show itself was dominated by the Conservatoire de l'Air et de l'Espace d'Aquitaine which is housed in one of the big hangars. Apparantly the state of the hangar is so bad that the public was not allowed in. Fortunately though, the hangar doors were open as wide as possible a large part of the collection that wasn't placed on the static was visible. The very friendly and helpful members of the association were more than happy to point out what was visible... and what not. A Mystere 2 fuselage and the second Cameroon Fouga were hidden from view. And P.S. the 40 is not a Super Etendard, but an Etendard 4

Note about the M346, the c/n plate was visible, as it is located behind the second seat on the bulkhead. With a big scope there was a clear MSN box.... but the number itself was not very visible as it is engraved, not painted. One of the pilots, though very friendly, wasn't sure if he could check it for me and tell me. He promised to check back on base though.
But perhaps a hint for anyone else who happens to come close to one in the future.
