ch-47f rnlaf

Hi all,

Just wondering: the rnlaf would have orderded new ch-47f to replace the elderly ch-47d. In the scramble database they can not be found yet.

Has the order not been materialized or are there not been giving new nummer yet to the airframes that not have been begun to be build?

I guess no airframes have been allocated yet, or they are just not known yet. So time will tell...

There is a RNLAF CH-47D currently undergoing reset-level maintenance here in Germany, and in talking with some people there it sounds like there may be as many as 4 CH-47Fs in the RNLAF? I may have misheard them though

Hi
at the moment the KLu have 11 D's en 6 F's
4 F's are in the USA for training.
14 New F's are on order through FMS ( I believe)
12 in december 2015 and 2 last year.
order is part of multiyear usarmy order.
