LATEST UPDATE: 29/06/17

•A rare civilian static item is confirmed this week in the shape of an A-4N Skyhawk!

Discovery Air Defence will be supplying an example from its fleet of jets for the static line up on Saturday and Sunday.

Elsewhere confirmations come from a Piaggio R166C, deHavilland Chipmunk and Hawker Hunter from HHA based at RAF Scampton.

•The USAF Heritage Flight is updated with the announcement that P-51B 'Berlin Express' will now be taking part in the display alongside the USAF F-22!

The aircraft is currently on its journey from Texas to the UK! See our Facebook page for a link to track the progress. Previously mentioned P-51D 'Frenesi' will no longer be flying the Heritage Flight.
A "razorback B-model Mustang P-51" is quite rare , a "D-model" with a bubble canopy is not....

A Ukrainian news outlet called "Ltava" has posted a news story reporting that a pair of Su-27s and an Il-76MD will be attending RIAT 2017 - including a flying display which has been approved by RAF officials.

We await official confirmation as to whether this report is accurate or not.

On Saturday 8 July 2017 the canopy of Berlin Express got shattered in a dive during Flying Legends Duxford.
See pictures at

before, during  -after the shattering of the canopy .
A lot of loose pieces indeed!

It is now rather doubtful whether this "Razorback Mustang" will fly during RIAT Fairford.
