Iets anders, het hek voor de bouwweg die van de Reykjavikweg richting baandrempel 36R loopt, was gisteravond open. Ik neem niet aan dat het de bedoeling is je daar komt en dat heb ik ook niet gedaan, maar het zou wel een mooie plek zijn. Weet iemand hier meer van en ook of dit terrein in de toekomst toegankelijk zal zijn?

Er komt een behoorlijk distributiecentrum met flink wat docks voor vrachtwagens. Ik vermoed dat het een afgesloten terrein met slagboom wordt, zoals bij de andere centra, en daardoor niet toegankelijk voor spotters.

Het aloude touch-down restaurant bij het panoramaterras gaat dicht.
Volgens medewerkers moet dit voor eind januari zijn.
Het is nog niet geheel duidelijk of het een bedrijfskantine moet worden of
een lounge.
Jammer hoor, ik heb decennia lang vanuit dit restaurant vliegtuigen gespot.

I've been told that they are going to close down whole East for spotters. So standing up close by the fence will be history soon.

Sounds very unlikely to me... there's a public parking next to the fence!

Rien Moerland ( experience spotter ) told me the story.. I think it's wait and see.

A while ago I read on one of the forums that they are building a second fence inside the existing one, with a road in between the fences.
If this turns out to be true, photography through the (then outside) fence will become nearly impossible with that second fence in the background.

It will not be a fence, it will be a brick wall to safeguard privacy of vips..

They are presently also upgrading the fence along the Loevestijnse Randweg (27 approach).

Het stuk asfalt voor de crashgate tegenover het parkeer terrein De Elzenhof is verdwenen, het ziet er naar uit dat ze hier gras gaan inzaaien. veel collega s parkeerden hier hun auto s om foto s te nemen vanaf de kop van de 18L oftewel tussen Mc Donald en de kop van 18L Hier werd de laatste tijd ook wild geparkeerd in de berm en op het fietspad !

Het viel me op dat aan de kop van de Kaagbaan flinke werkzaamheden gaande zijn. Enig idee wat daar gaat komen? Kan toch geen gebouw worden aangezien het wel heel dicht bij de centerline van de baan ligt.

vandaag eens even nagevragen ,het wordt inderdaad helemaal ingezaaid en volgens de man die daar aan het werk was zou zelfs het hekweggaan
omdat het terrein als opslag zou hebben gediend en dat nu niet meer nodig zou zijn.
