EasyJet to reflag half the fleet to Austria

Post by frank kramer »

According to press reports, easyJet is planning to reflag half of its fleet in Austria  and set up a separate entity there. The reason is the brexit, and the fact that all EU countries will (have to/want to) re-negotiate landing rights with British companies. Also, easyJet fears that Europe might stop their flights between two EU-countries if they were to remain a wholly British company. Headoffice will remain in Luton though.
