Sim Dreams - Aviapark- Moscow

Post by Hundazir Strabehn »

There's a company called Sim Dreams in the Avia Park shopping centre (on the old Khodynka airfield) in Moscow. They have a front fuselage section of a L-39 in a flight simulator. I was told that the fuselage section came from a real L-39 and despite never having been in a L-39 before it looked pretty real to me.

Probably a pointless question but does anybody know what L-39 this came from? I had a good look around in the cockpit but couldn't see any identifying marks.

The c/n plate of an L-39 is in the cockpit behind the pilots seat. Not any use for you now I presume, but for the future...

Thanks Patrick. I have a feeling the cockpit section finished just behind the ejection seat but I forgot to photograph it. I need to go back there again next time I'm in Moscow as there is/was a Czech Tu154 forward fuselage in a kids play area somewhere else in the shopping centre

That Tupolev is at Kidzania, which has locations all over the world with planes (or parts thereof): http://forum.scramble.nl/viewtopic.php? ... 5&p=844469
