Final F-16 Delivery From Fort Worth

The last F-16s to be manufactured in Fort Worth departed today (2 Sep) at aprx 1100Z (0600 LT) as Retro11 flight for delivery to Iraq. Tanker was KC-10A 86-0032 Blue61. These are the final F-16s to be built for Iraq. Some remain in the US for training.

Correct. AFAIK, the final F-16 for Iraq (which is the last F-16 to be built at Ft Worth) hasn't even made its first flight yet.

Thanks for the correction. I assumed this was F-16IQ since last batch of new-build to them had been scheduled some time ago for this month, but apparently it has been pushed back.

According to LM they are building one a month and Iraq is still waiting for the last four to five to be delivered. They should be in the final stages of assembly and flight testing. 1631 and 1632 have flown already.

1631 and 1633 have already been handed over to the Iraqi AF and where seen in AZ last July. I expect that 1632 has been delivered by now too.

Delivery of the final batch of F-16s to Iraq is now set for early '18.
