Prvé z dvoch dopravných lietadiel Spartan C-27J je už na Slovensku. Dnes po 10-tej hodine pristálo na letisku v Kuchyni. Ide tak o naplnenie ďalšieho modernizačného projektu v prospech Ozbrojených síl SR. V najbližších dňoch sa musí ešte uskutočniť technické odovzdanie Dopravnému krídlu generála M. R. Štefánika Kuchyňa. Následne je na 31. októbra 2017 naplánované slávnostné odovzdanie lietadla do užívania Vzdušných síl OS SR aj za účasti zástupcov médií.
