Eglin Afb 96Th TW Adds Hot Pit Refueling

The 96Th Tw now can run real missions after adding hot pit refueling,planes fly a sortie come in refuel and right back out,been that way for operational units,now the aircraft at Eglin can fly more missions in a shorter amount of time:

I am really surprised. They present it like something totally new and different. Is it the same hot pit refueling we know and have for ages?

Maybe they can do some exercises with Formula 1 teams......

It's new for the 96th TW

"The practice, which began here for the 96th TW in June, is a common occurrence at operational fighter bases and happens regularly on the 33rd Fighter Wing side of the base with the F-35 Lightning IIs."
