Next Monday, January 29, the first flight course of the year, FC 2018-1, of the Pilot Tactical Leadership Program (TLP) of NATO will begin and will conclude on Friday, February 23, with a duration of four weeks.
As usual, it will not be until Wednesday January 31 when the first takeoffs take place, since the first two days of the course correspond to the academic activity, a course that also does not include scheduled missions night.
The participating nations such as Blue Air of this FC will be: Holland, France, Greece, Italy, Germany and Spain, with a total of 22 aircraft. As far as Red Air is concerned, a total of 8 aircraft from Greece, France and Spain will participate.
This course will also have the support of an antiaircraft artillery simulator, two Italian and one Spanish helicopters, as well as a P-3 Orion and an F100 Frigate of the Navy. 1 British AWACS will participate in the air control together with an Italian CAEW.
