Syria conflict: Israel blamed for attack on airfield

Russia and the Syrian government have blamed Israel for an overnight attack on a Syrian military airport in which at least 14 people were killed.
Monday's attack hit the Tiyas airbase, known as T4, near the city of Homs.
Israel, which has previously hit Syrian targets, has not commented. Syria initially said it suspected the US was responsible for the air strike.
The incident comes amid international alarm over an alleged chemical attack on a Syrian rebel-held town.
The US and France had threatened to respond to the alleged chemical attack in Douma, in the Eastern Ghouta region, near the capital Damascus.
US President Donald Trump said there would be a "big price to pay" and branded Syria's President Bashar al-Assad an "animal".

Russian military says Israeli war planes struck Syrian air base: Ifax

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Russian military said on Monday that two Israeli F-15 war planes had carried out strikes on a Syrian air base on Sunday, the Interfax news agency reported.
Interfax cited the Russian Defence Ministry as saying the Israeli war planes had carried out the strikes from Lebanese air space, and that Syrian air defense systems had shot down five of eight missiles fired.
Asked about the Russian statement, an Israeli military spokesman said he had no immediate comment.
Syrian state TV said on Monday the United States was suspected of striking an air base hours after U.S. President Donald Trump warned of a “big price to pay” as aid groups said dozens of people were killed by poison gas in a rebel-held town.

What missiles would have been used in such an "alleged" attack? Popeyes?

For me it looks as the silencer for my Studebaker.

The talks was about Python or Delilah.

On radarbox 24, USAF KC-10, 83-0075 ("MOJO90") now flying patterns over north Syria (Raqqah). Probably some air operations are taking place around.

The MOJO's are flying daily AAR missions from Al Dhafra, along with the OCTANE KC135's from Incirlik.
