Req Paris-Orly

Post by Wim Zonnenberg »

Hello

We where last Sunday a Orly
and have seen A.310 and a other old airframe
but we are looking for the S/N

Depends on where you were looking... :-)

AFAIK on Orly there are at least 3 old liners:
SE-210 at the fire station (west, seen from the park, towards the left)
A-300 at the old runway (east, visible from the terminal observation terrace, I don't think it's visible from the park)
Concorde (south, next to the main road which runs underneath the airport, also 3 Mirage 3's there, as far as I can recall visible from the terrace)
And I think there's still a MD-80 lingering somewhere in the technical area (north, not visible from park nor from terminal observation terrace)

Most are mentioned here:

I'll dig up the A-300 in a minute.

EDIT:
A-300 SU-DAS c/n 145 stored since at least 1997
Concorde F-WTSA c/n 02 preserved since 1976
Caravelle F-BVPZ (can anyone confirm?)
MD-80 F-GHED (not sure that that's still around)

Grtz,
