I'm also considering this. Thinking of one day inside and one outside. My guess would be if you are there early in the morning (really early) then you might get pretty close. They probably won't seal off the entire village I hope.Felix2112 wrote:Just a short question about your experiences regarding airshows at Nancy in the past:
Is there any chance to find a spot in the village of Ochey or will this area be entirely closed by the authorities?
Regarding the runway direction I am not too happy with the sun situation and consider to find another spot outside.
Looking forward to your replies.
Cheers,

Sounds good Frank!frank kramer wrote:According to a message on fosa.fr, the timing of the flying displays on saturday has been altered to accomodate the people (probably including aircrew ) that want to watch the 16.00 World Cup match France-Argentina. The Rafale solo display and the Patrouille de France will now perform BEFORE 14.00 lt instead of closing the airshow. However, the flying display as such WILL continue until 18.00 lt. This just MIGHT lead to a lot of spectators departing before 16.00, leaving the photo opportunities at the static for those of us not (that) much interested in football..
