Sorry about the second log. I originaly posted it in Spotting elsewhere, didn't see yours in Airshow news. The two topics were merged afterwards.

There is a photo of 5 Fennecs of Escadron d'Hélicoptères 5/67 'Alpilles' at Villacoublay(?) on their facebook page, having arrived to support EH 3/67 in air security, filming & flypast duties but I can't read the codes from it :(

If they have a Facebook page you can also ask for the codes on behalf of all the spotters ;)

I have done so, Leonard, in my terrible schoolboy French. We'll see if they reply!

Regards.
There is no logic as EBC is 1387 (photo proof)
For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline

Hi there,

I'm planning to visit Paris for 2019 defile. I'm looking for some good spots in the city itself to photograph the fly-past. Anybody who want to share their experiences?

thanks in advance!

At the Louvre museum, you will have a nice view with the small Arc de Triomphe in the foreground.

Jasper,

The lawns in front of Les Invalides are a popular spot for photographers.

48.862350° 2.314017° is 500m off the centre line (with your back to the sun) and has worked well for us for a number of years. There is an RER station beneath it and it was the location, for a number of years, that several helicopters from the second flypast landed back at.
