It had just been repainted into a classic Martinair scheme for departure to its new home at Aviodrome Lelystad in the Netherlands.
This Convair, was to depart Wonderboom on the 12th of July. #WonderboomCrash #PlaneCrash
At least 20 people were injured after a plane crashed at Wonderboom in Pretoria, ER24 has said on Tuesday.
"Initial reports from the aircraft crash in Wonderboom has left allegedly 20 people injured,
at least one critically," ER24 tweeted.

Met de drie Aviodrome medewerkers die aan boord waren hebben we inmiddels contact kunnen leggen,
zij zijn gelukkig slechts lichtgewond geraakt.
Voor de zekerheid zijn zij ter controle naar een ziekenhuis gebracht.

from Pretoria Wonderboom to Pretoria Wonderboom (South Africa) with 4 crew and 3 crew,
was climbing out of Wonderboom's runway 29
when ground observers observed smoke from the left hand engine,
the aircraft appeared to not climb anymore,
estimated height was about 300 feet.
The aircraft appeared to maneouver to join a downwind and turn for final when it lost height,
impacted and broke through a house
and came to rest about 5.7km/3.1nm east of the airport at position S25.6711 E28.2838.
About 20 people on the aircraft and on the ground
received injuries, one occupant - reportedly the flight engineer -
received critical injuries and subsequently died,
one other occupant received serious injuries.
The aircraft received substantial damage beyond repair.
During takeoff from Wonderboom Airport,
the aircraft was seen trailing brown smoke from the no.1 engine.
Eyewitnesses also reported observing flames.
The pilot flew a circuit for an emergency landing back on runway 29.
It went down about 6 km to the east of the airport.
The aircraft impacted a shed and broke up.
One of the crew members sustained fatal injuries.
