Just had a low approach from a DHC-8 in Golden Knights scheme. Call sign was GKA609, hex on SBS shows N171VA which is c/n 315 but it was too high to tell if it was wearing that or a serial.

It was the at Huntsville Sierra Nevada facility a couple of months ago as N171AV,while they were finishing it up before it went to Fort Bragg, came from Fort Bragg,so safe to assume new type for them should be 01609,unknown FY as of yet.

With the departure of the 95FS aircraft there are 13 F22s here now.
4017 and 4041 seem to have replaced 4031 and 4034 over the past couple of days.

Are you sure about this one? VFA-83 is flying with F/A-18F's now. Or is this flying from Beaufort now and not been repainted yet?

I would think that's very likely, it was parked with the VMFAAW-224 jet but I don't know if they flew together? Just this morning there was one in VFA-37 marks (coded 400 no letter code) parked next to one from VMFA-312

Ah cool that explains something else. I have seen an uncoded 400 parked at Beaufort earlier this month. It was in a line with VMFA 312 aircraft. Couldn't really identify the markings with all the heatwaves since I was looking for USMC squadrons but this being "Bulls" markings seems very likely.
