Can you share the actually read or photographed serials with code tie-ups of the Sea Hawks with us?

Hi Maarten -many thanks for that advice, about to head there in two weeks.
Just wondering did you pre-book or just turn up? We expect to be there on a Friday.

I would think there will quite a few people in the area over the next few weeks between Yuma(WTI) and Miramar(show)hopefully everyone posts what they see and between us all we can get a good list together for NASNI
I will be in San Diego for a week(none spotting) but hopefully can provide some sightings

We did a pre-book the afternoon before we went. Do the morning tour otherwise you are facing the sun.

Question on a tie-up. I made a picture of a MH-60S with tail code NG, number on the fuselage/nose/engine cover shows 614 and on the door there is a batch of HSC-14.

HSC-14 has the NG tailcode, so that should be right, but they normally have only two digits in the code instead of three. Normally only HSC-4 and HSC-8 has three digits starting with a 6, but the letters are not NG but NE and NH.

The same is applicable on NG-615 and NG-617.

Does anyone have a clue which BuNo is involved?

Maarten,

They have both 2 and 3 digit codes, in March we saw:
168553/NG-(6)14
167861/NG-(6)15
168559/NG-617

Hi Melchior,

I just found on on my pictures that I photographed two Sea Hawks with the code 617, the tie-up for the other one is unknown to me because I did not saw a tail code nor a sq batch.

Great Log.
If I do that well in a couple of weeks I will be very happy

Would it be possible to post a couple of pictures (either on board or a flickr link ? if you have one)to see what sort of distance angles you get from the boat , will save me and I am sure others a little time in setting up

many thanks
