At 08:30 (local time) this morning, two Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon were scrambled from Grosseto Air Base to intercept an Ukranian Vulkan Air Antonov An-26.
The aircraft was flying from Tanger to Rome FCO. The aircraft (reg. UR-CQD) lost radio contact with ATC.
