Staatsbosbeheer was only active in order to protect the rutting time. It was not allowed to enter the parking lot of the Deelerwoud between sun set and rise. Nobody seen when I was at dusk in the Veteranenbos.downwind wrote:Today's log; Tuesday 2-10-2018 @14:45-15:15LT

Tourist tips:
Walking the fence makes our German friends very nervous, (Dutch) patrols asked us several times to stay back from the fence.
For minimal annoyance and exposure (and maximum foto opportunity) walk the path all the way to the back and take the 2nd or 3rd cleared grassy area left towards the fence.
Best foto's taken in the morning (sun in the back) with a small step ladder.
Also Staatsbosbeheer seems to be actively patrolling their jurisdiction around the base for illegal access by foot & vehicle.
