On 30.10.2018 the Africa Investment Summit took place in Berlin and we got a few nice visitors.
Unfortunately I missed some of them. But nevertheless I was happy with the results of 2 short visits in Tegel.
First a short stay at the morning of 30.11., because I heard, that there was an Ethiopian B787 expected.
My first highlight was the Rhein-Neckar-Air Do-328 D-CIRB, which departed in nice light.
Unfortunately just 10 minutes before the 787 came in, a big cloud came over the area and so all pictures of the arrival was without sun. But less then 5 minutes later, when the Dreamliner taxied to TXL North it was a little brighter again.
So I took at least 2 presentable pics of ET-ASH rolling.
Than I had to leave to work, but I came back on 31.10.2018 for an 2 hour stay at the terrace.
Unfortunately the 787 started to early for me (of course in sunny conditions this time. *grmpf* )
But the expected government jets of Egypt, Tunisia and cote'd Ivoire was still there and there was some other nice movements planned for that day.
When I came to the airport, I heard that 2 specials were canceled. Iceland Hekla Aurora and Brussels TINTIN were flown to other destinations. :/
C'est la vie.
Austrian sent the Retro Airbus, but the pics are with heavy heat haze, so I don't show them.
But the next special one came a few minutes later.
Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEO "Rugby"
And Easyjet sent 3 special liverys to TXL, the "Linate" jet, the "Berlin" one and the "Venezia" Airbus.
Here are 2 of them:
SAS sent the Airbus A320Neo SE-ROE
Private Wings Dornier Do-328 D-CITO was taxiing to the departure.
Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 TC-JTF
A very sad moment was the last landing of D-ASPI for Small Planet Germany, which ceased Operations.
And finally at least on of the government jets started.
Cote d'Ivoire Airbus A319 CJ TU-VAS
Unfortunately the ETD of the A340 of Egypt was delayed from 12:30 to 13:30 so I had no chance to wait that long.
(And bytheway, the departure was around 14:20, I saw at FR24.)
So I left, but I got a picture of the new "Airbus A220"
Just one letter makes the difference. I hoped for "A" but Swiss sent HB-JBB without any special livery.
The departure nevertheless was nice.
Okay, that was the first quick edit of the pictures...
Good bye.
