the Spitfire PR.XIX registered F-AZJS,
which was damaged in a take-off accident in June 2017,
is currently being restored by Historic Flying Limited in the United-Kingdom as well as in the USA.

The aircraft is expected to fly again in the spring of 2019.

En juin 2017, un rarissime Spitfire se crashait au décollage, sur la piste de l'aérodrome de Longuyon-Villette.
Aujourd'hui, cet avion mythique est en restauration en Angleterre et aux Etats-Unis.

Il devrait retourner dans le ciel au printemps prochain.
Son propriétaire livre quelques images de sa remise en état, facturée 2 millions d'euros.

Qu’est devenu le Spitfire qui avait, en juin 2017, capoté au décollage sur la piste de l’aérodrome de Longuyon-Villette ? Christophe Jacquard, le propriétaire de ce rarissime avion, répond à la question.
