Nikon Z6 / Z7

Post by Alpha Kilo One »

I am a little bit curious if there are any of you having experience with Z6 or Z7 ? I read the announcement of D760 to come. So somewhere in near future I will have the choice again.
What would be the best argument to switch to mirrorless? If there is 1?

I don't own a mirrorless camera, but based on what I've read the big pro is superior low light performance. However, there are some cons like dust, slow burst rate, lags on the viewfinder. Of course, these issues might be overcome in due time.

Having a Z6+ 24-70/4 and D5/500. Pro: Weight and excellent optics.
Cons: Buffer, AF D5/500 both superior, D5 best
Low light: D5, followed closely by Z6
Video: Z6
Although the Z6 has an impressive FPS, the hit rate of the D5/500 is better in action settings, perhaps i need to master the Z6 a bit more
I would take the Z6 hands down of any holiday trip for the convenience, for our hobby i still would grab the D5/500
D5 + Nikkors 14/2.8 up to 400/2.8
