Today, Transavia welcomed the first 12 students to its new Flightschool at Lelystad Airport (EHLE). The airline hopes to train 30 new pilots annually. The first part of the course is given at Lelystad Airport, using two newly-acquired Blackshape Gabriel aircraft operated by the Zelf Vliegen Flightschool for the practical part of the course (which starts in september). The second part (converting to the B737) is done in the Transavia simulators at Schiphol. More news (in Dutch) through:
