I also sent an e-mail on December 18 and received a permission on February 25th

E-mail sent January 10th, permission received February 28th. In the English permission the following was mentioned: As of now, we are missing your : ID scan to complete your registration.

Although I did provide my Passport details I was not aware they needed a real scan of my ID, nothing mentioned in the required information. Also nothing mentioned about what to do next (but I think I will sent the Passport scan in reply.)

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it for the Spotters Day but am aiming to go that week for Spotting outside the Base. Are there decent Spotting locations around the Base? If there are, grateful if someone can share these. Thanks.

Aan de westkant kun je bij een rotonde bij oostenwind de landende kisten fotograferen. Ik ben er ooit één keer geweest (een jaar of 25 geleden) en werd snel weggestuurd. De baan kun je daar niet zien. Ik vond het helemaal niks. Aan de oostkant weet ik het niet. Het enige wat ik me herinner is dat de bewaking (en de politie) zeer streng was. Veel succes
