Two Indian Air Force (IAF) Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighters intercepted a Georgian Antonov An-12 'Cub' transport aircraft
that flew unannounced into Indian airspace from Pakistan on 10 May 2019,
forcing it to land in India for inspection.

IAF officials said the An-12,
which was transporting cargo from a Ukrainian aircraft engine manufacturer from Tbilisi to New Delhi
via Karachi in southern Pakistan,
was intercepted after it deviated from the route normally approved by Indian air traffic controllers.

According to the Indian government's Press Information Bureau (PIB),
the An-12 entered the Indian airspace from Pakistan
from an "unscheduled point" in western Rajasthan state,
which has been closed to all air traffic since late February,
following military tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad

An IAF source said on condition of anonymity
that the Georgian plane was a commercial aircraft
operated by Motor Sich airlines registered in Ukraine.
