Regarding the comments that Thats all brother was the first aircraft to lead the invasion force is not entirely correct!
That is a matter of perspective as the plane itself led the regular invasion as number one and also had chalk one on the aircraft of that fleet.
This was preceded by the Pathfinder aircraft wich paved the way by dropping Pathfinders who needed to set up the beacons on which Thats all brother could home in too..

Serials 1 till 3 and 6a where pathfinders whereas the serial 7 and following where regular forces which was led by Thats all brother...
Still nevertheless a important surviving aircraft but not the first to arrive in Normandy that night as the pathfinders where there 28 minutes earlyer..
