Just wondered if anybody has any info regarding dates or times, for exercise Garuda 2019 at Mont de Marsan that they would not mind sharing?

The Indian AF will come with 10 Su-30MKI and (one) IL-76 AWACS and some Il-78 tanker.

It would appear 8 Sqn, IAF at Bareilly AFS may be the SU-30 unit involved, and 2 supporting C-17As may just be CB-8002 and CB-8006.

As far as I know, that is the plan.

C-17A CB-8002 appears to be on the way here today. Arrival here on the 27th seems likely.

In a brief video about the exercise, Air Commodore M. Ranade revealed that four Su-30MKI fighters, two C-17 transport aircraft and one Il-78 aerial refuelling tanker would depart from the Air Force Station at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Ranade noted the aim of the exercise was to “learn lessons of best practices that each air force has to offer”.

8 Sqn at Bareilly AFS ( the unit the SU-30s come from) has done quite a few European deployments, so it was no surprise that one had been before.

The 2 support C-17As here both departed home on the 30th.

The press release of the French AF reported that the Su-30MKI's are from "24e squadron « Hunting Hawks »" at Bareilly
