My initial thought was Bf109, then noticed only a Bouchon was mentioned on the WoF site. Think you're right.

There's a pic of it on the NOS website:

The only hope for sun in the back is to have them fly patterns via the north...
Nevertheless, facing sun or not, it's still a great show, let's hope we can make the best out of it, backlit photos aren't the worst thing in the world.

...well, you will not see this Spitfire at Ede this weekend.
Will be stuck in Zeeland/Arnemuiden for a while:

Today, 22-08 they were flying a north pattern. Wind was west today. Saturday will be an eastern wind.
By the way, it's pretty cool to live 500 meters from this field, what a sound...….

Welcome in Ede, I think you live in Veldhuizen and we met on the parking lot during this years FF. :D
Expect southern pattern as the crowd line is facing south. On the north you will find huge trees. I expect the northern pattern of yesterday and possibly today, is to spread noise over the area.
Also the previous show had a southern pattern.

Yesterday till around 19:30hrs we had arrivals with 2 Wingwalkers coming in. A lot is in already, but did not get the time to go yesterday evening.

And indeed, please stop the discussion on the B-25. It was most likely the Dutch one, just like the previous show. Some shows keep the list as is at such a short period due to time constraints and not relevant to get the show going.

Also please note that we spoke to owners on the Dokter Hoolboomweg. They were instructed to leave their houses on Saturday. They refused, but got word that when they get guests over, the airshow will be terminated of safety concerns. Albeit I believe this is bluff, this is something to keep in mind. Do not try to get into this road.

when coming by car from:
Utrecht A12: take exit Veenendaal/Renswoude
Arnhem A12: go via A30 and exit Ede-Noord/Kievitsmeent

Exit A12 Veenendaal/Rhenen is pretty much closed. Closed in direction south due to a triathlon and in direction north/De Klomp due to some airshow....

Luckily the aircraft are parked with the nose facing the public, so you can take pictures early in the morning or late afternoon (as I did).
Between 11.30 and 14.30 is almost impossible.

Is there an schedule available for the airshow? (more detailed as "morning" and "afternoon" as mentioned at the Wings of Freedom site?)
